Edema
Edema or oedema, formerly know as dropsy or hydropsy is an abnormal retention
of fluid beneath the skin or in one or more cavities of the body. Generally,

Six factors can contribute to the formation of edema. They are increased
hydrostatic pressure, reduced oncotic pressure within blood vessels; increased

which have a semi-permeable membrane wall that allows water to pass more freely
